What type of analysis do you provide? We provide fantasy baseball insight based on statistical analysis that will make your fantasy baseball season more successful and enjoyable! We base a lot of our analysis on a basic 5 X 5 format - meaning BA, R, RBI, SB, HR (for hitters) and W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP (for pitchers), but you will notice that these stats aren't the only stats we will use during our evaluation process. An overriding belief we have is that the stats from above are a byproduct of a player's true talent. In order to figure out who the talented players are before they have their breakout season, you need to dig a little deeper. For hitters this involves looking at slugging and on-base percentages, for pitchers this involves looking at both strikeout and walk rates. Do you focus on one style of league over another? Our player reviews and individual position reviews will be applicable to any format, but from a ranking standpoint, we tend to focus on rotisserie style leagues first and foremost. The reasoning behind this is that a head-to-head league is usually won with great offense supplemented by an overabundance of starting pitching. Points League players can also use our site, but those type of leagues generally incorporate a lot more categories than a basic league and, of course, we have no way of knowing how the points are broken out. Who is your target audience? Our target audience is really anyone that loves fantasy baseball and wants to improve their baseball knowledge. That being said, we don't dig as deep into some statistical analysis as some of the bigger sites do. I would say that this is designed for the beginner/intermediate fantasy baseball player. How will we benefit from using this site? We will provide insightful commentary and statistical analysis that will help lead you to the top of your league. Which stats do you look at first when analyzing a player? Have you been successful with that method in the past? If you know what to look for, you shouldn't ever finish in the bottom half of the league - and that won't happen if you join us. Is this a pay service? Starting in 2008, the only product you will pay for is our pre-season analysis. We believe that our price is fair and on the low-end of the market. Click here for membership options. Why should we use your site over more well-established sites? As I previously mentioned, if you are an advanced baseball stats guy, this probably isn't the best site for you. We keep things relatively basic here from an analytical sense. If you are a beginner to fantasy baseball analysis or are looking for that extra edge, we hope to open your eyes to looking at fantasy baseball in a different light. Most people base a lot of their draft day & trade decisions on the wrong stats - Wins, RBI's and Batting Average to name a few - and we will help you avoid making the same mistakes as your competitors. Do you cover any fantasy sports other than baseball? No - I've played several years of fantasy football and a couple of fantasy basketball, but I don't believe any sport can truly be measured by statistics other than baseball. Great, where can I sign up?? Right here. Enjoy!
